Part Three (8 MB, 33 min)
This year we recorded audio of selected Rochester Reads events so that more people might be able to "virtually attend" events they couldn't attend in person. Not all events were recorded.
Audio is available in MP3 format. To access the audio, click on the link for the event you would like to listen to.
Downloading the entire MP3
You may choose to download the entire file onto your computer by right-clicking the link of the appropriate presentation and choosing "save target as". Choose the file location and it will download onto your computer. Not recommended for slow internet connections.
Streaming the MP3
You may also "stream" the audio on your audio playing program (Windows Media Player, Quicktime, etc.). Depending on how your computer is configured, your audio program may just open up when you click on the link. If it doesn't, open up your program, choose the option "File-Open URL" and insert the URL of the MP3 File (right click on link and choose "copy shortcut" and then paste that URL into the text box for "Open URL") to begin playing.
